Lately I’ve felt a bit in a panic because the number of days to enjoy outdoors is shortening. Here in the Midwest, winters can be brutal and I treasure every moment outside. I found easy outdoor living inspiration in a series of photos that feature Adirondack chairs. (This post contains affiliate links.)
Three challenges of outdoor furniture is finding something that can stand up to the elements, is comfortable, and pretty to look at. I have four Adirondack chairs and I do find them to be incredibly comfortable. And look how great they look on a deck near the water!
In my opinion, they’re the quintessential outdoor vacation chair – you find them nearly anywhere you go: the woods, the beach, by a campfire, on a porch – they’re everywhere.
Don’t be fooled into thinking these chairs are only for casual locations. Adirondack chairs look great in a formal setting too, creating a somewhat eclectic look.
Don’t you feel beckoned to sit in one of these any time you see them? I imagine this pair enjoys amazing views of the country garden.
Let’s talk about color! You can find a wide range of color options for Adirondack chairs. This red duo matches the trim of the house perfectly.
And then there’s orange, which stands out brilliantly against the green foliage.
A pair of green chairs blends in with the house behind it for a more monochromatic look.
Even a big red barn looks great with these classic outdoor chairs!
Every day I try to spend some time de-stressing by the pond in my aqua colored Adirondack chairs. Sometimes I enjoy coffee in the morning, and sometimes it’s dinner or wine at night.
It’s always a comfortable spot to relish nature and the great outdoors!
