9 Gorgeous Waterfront Rooms with an Incredible View
I think there’s one decorating detail everyone can agree on. A room with an amazing view is a prized asset in any home. Mountains, water, forests, even your garden is beautiful when framed in a window. Today I’m sharing 9 waterfront rooms that almost match the beauty of their view.
Boats sailing by can be enjoyed by the massive bay window in this truly impressive living room with its two-story ceiling and pair of balconies. I think I would leave the shades up at night to enjoy the glimmer of boat lights in the water.

A harbor view makes for a relaxing background in this small living room. Open up a few windows to catch the breezes and smell the sea salt air.

A Maine cabin benefits from the views of the nearby Atlantic ocean. Even in winter this is a room to be enjoyed.
Waterfront rooms call for grand windows! I don’t know what’s more impressive, the view out the window or the details of the ceiling. Truly stunning!

Here’s my type of ocean view. A gentle calm across the water while watching sea grass wave in the breeze. A small wooden bridge beckons you to come outdoors and play.

Who can complain about doing dishes when you have a view like this to enjoy?
A breakfast nook takes advantage of the waterfront views by positioning windows all around. Dark wallpaper keeps the space cozy.

If I lived by the lake or ocean, my bedroom window would have to face the water. I’d never use air conditioning in the summer. I’d simply open the window and let the breeze across the water cool me.
It’s always fun to fantasize about beautiful rooms, especially when they take nature into consideration!

Beautiful! I can’t even imagine living somewhere like that.
Beautiful, beautiful views from each home…BUT, I don’t understand why anyone who has such a beautiful view would face their furniture away from the window…I would find some way to place the furniture so as to sit and enjoy this loveliness…are they facing a t.v?….hmmmmm!

This was such a fun post to get on a warm, sunny Summer day! All the views were astounding but I particularly loved the harbor view. It reminded me of afternoons spent in a rocker at Harbour Town in Sea Pines SC, eating ice cream cones and watching the boats come in and out of the harbor. It was fun to imagine where those beautiful boats were coming from or going to. The shade, rocker and view seemed much more relaxing than a day at the beach!!
Wishing I was sitting in front of a window in one of these places and dreaming. I may not get much accomplished but I would be well relaxed and easier to live with!!!
One and five were my favorites. I could see myself sitting in that leather chair facing the view all day long. I would never get anything done lol.
Beautiful water views and beautiful rooms. We live just outside of Boulder Co on a golf course. There are stunning mountain views and I always say if we could have water where the golf course is we would be in heaven. LOL the best of both.
Having not been anywhere since this pandemic started as I can’t decide where to go (plus aging dogs need us) seeing all these water views makes me want to leave tomorrow…anywhere there is a water view that is. In reading about how VRBO has added many fees after you book we’ll need to look into a better way of planning our get a way. It would be wonderful to have a running list of friends who live around the world that we can feel safe to trade homes with. Now wouldn’t that be a new site? Like Nextdoor for friends who travel. hmmmm?? I’m with you Jennifer on the bight views of the ships lights…that’d be wonderful.
All gorgeous views! I wouldn’t even mind standing at that kitchen sink scrubbing pots and pans! So many beautiful views and rooms to imagine living in. Thank you for a wonderful few minutes of escapism.
