Cozy Pink and White Rooms to Love: Surprising Results
You might not choose a pink and white color scheme to create a cozy room, but I think you’ll be surprised at how inviting and intimate this palette can be in every room of the house. So, in honor of Valentine’s Day next week, I’m paying homage to my favorite color – pink.
Romantic Pink Dining Rooms
Pale pink works well in a dining room with a large window and a bit of glam. A sparkly chandelier and white fireplace create a beautiful space for dining. Lighter wood accents like the table and flooring are the perfect accompaniment.
A Scandinavian style dining room features the same color scheme with large windows for plenty of natural light. Gauzy curtains ensure that daylight won’t be blocked, keeping the room light and airy in appeal.
A small dining nook adapts a cozy vibe in pink and white. Perfect for a Valentine’s Day dinner for two.
Pink and White Kitchens
A creamy-colored kitchen enjoys just a touch of blush pink, from the charming pendant lights to the fabric on the window shades and upholstered stools.
An English country kitchen gets cozy with a pink-stained wood kitchen island and wooden ceiling with beams. The patterned, colorful floor adds depth to the space while the deep set window gives a hint to the home’s age.
A more traditional style kitchen also features a pink island, which is a great way to introduce a touch of blush to your cooking space.
Fresh Pink Living Rooms
When I first moved into my house, I used a pink sponge paint treatment for my living room. I decorated my mother’s living room with the same treatment. Some people think pink isn’t a good color for a living room, but take a look at these beauties and decide for yourself.
This first room would be my daughter’s dream living space. From the sparkly chandelier to the large floral print, to the white sofa and fireplace, this room exudes romantic and feminine charm.
I love the knitted pouf ottoman in this traditional pink and white living room with a sink-in style sofa with chaise. Can you see yourself curled up in this cozy room on a wintry or rainy day, with the faux fur throw on your lap while a flame flickers in the fireplace?
Here’s another wonderfully furry throw on a white sofa, with a soft rug underfoot to match.
Cozy Pink Bedrooms
Most people relegate the color pink to girls’ bedrooms, but these three rooms show that pink and white can be both elegant and charming – not to mention cozy!
Introduce pale green on the walls if you want a soft contrast to pink. The result is a refreshing space that’s a joy to wake up to in the morning.
Pink is a perfect choice for cottagecore or English style decorating. Lots of pillows and layered bedding invite you to enjoy sweet dreams.
Precious Pink and White Bathrooms
Last but not least, pink and white bathrooms make their appearance in today’s cozy lineup. Incorporate pink through the use of towels or a rug, or both. Gold hardware looks beautiful with this color palette.
Here’s a spring fresh bathroom with a wonderful gray and white tile floor. Notice that brushed silver hardware also looks great with blush tones.
Shaded sconces create a cozy glow in this romantic bathroom with a large vanity.
After seeing today’s pink and white inspiration, would you consider using this palette somewhere in your home?
How pretty! It’s hard to choose a favorite. I love them all.
Your daughter’s living room is stunning..
Every one of these rooms shows you a grown up way to highlight pink. In the second picture the dining chairs caught my attention. I wonder where they come from?
Just what I needed on this grey, snowy and cold morning!
I’ve been leaning toward pink for a while, and Jennifer, you just pushed me over the edge, lol.
Gorgeous! When I see a palette like this I always wonder if a man lives here too.
It is so feminine.
