A Swedish Country Home and a New Look for My Blog: Friday Finds #110

Happy Friday before Thanksgiving! Are you hosting this year or going somewhere else? I’ll head to my daughter’s home, where my dining table now resides! I’m still baking my homemade pumpkin pies to take over there, along with some type of salad. But in other news, my blog has a new look! Visit the home page to see the updated look. I’m still tweaking a few things but am loving the new look. Let me know what you think!

Let’s start today’s list of Friday Finds inspiration with this cozy Swedish country home tour. I don’t know if I like the exterior or interior best. It’s beautiful inside and out!

I absolutely fell in love when I saw this holiday decorating and gift wrapping post. The wrapping paper is not what you’d typically use for Christmas but I just love the small prints and rich colors of it all.

Here’s a list of popular paint colors from the fall of 2017. Even though the post is five years old, the colors are still fabulous for today. Many of the colors are what I’m eyeing for my home in 2023. Yes, I plan to paint several rooms in the New Year. Well, actually I plan to have hubby paint them!

Lately I’ve had a craving for oven baked French fries. Why? I don’t know. But I was in heaven when I ran across this recipe for Parmesan Truffle Oven Fries. Can’t wait to make these this weekend.

Over at Country Living magazine, you’ll find 41 winter decorations to make your home super cozy. They’re worth checking out! I’m especially fond of the snowflake chandelier and the mitten garland!

Do you have any wee ones on your holiday shopping list this year. I absolutely love Odin Parker! My daughter Bridget introduced me to this online store with the cutest items for babies and young children. Many of the items could even be used as home décor. I don’t typically share shopping sites on my list of Friday Finds, but Odin Parker is too good not to share!
