This beautiful l-shaped kitchen incorporates Shaker style cabinetry in a light wood tone while the hardwood floor features a darker wood grain. The coolness of stainless steel is a great complement, not to mention the granite counter on the kitchen island.

A marbled granite back splash also resides above the kitchen sink and the stove, creating a unique and subtle contrast to the tiles. Smoky glass doors let you see shadows of what lines the shelves.

A convenient wet bar adjacent to the kitchen includes a coffee station.

Wooden bar stools with an orange undertone add warmth and color to the kitchen island area. The layout is great for cooking and entertaining guests at the island. You can cook dinner without having people under foot while chatting.

Wood Cabinets in the Kitchen: Making a Comeback
What a gorgeous kitchen, and so nice to see one that isn’t all white! My own kitchen is similar – natural cherry Shaker-style cabinets, which have mellowed to a warm honey color, stainless steel appliances, and dark granite countertops. Would love to see more posts featuring kitchens like this. Love your blog!
Oh, I love seeing wood and woidtones coming back. Nothing adds warmth like the varied stains and a great companion colors or accents. Great kitchen.
I still love white the most, but this is a beautiful kitchen.
I love the warm wood tones but not sure if I like all the different heights of the upper cabinets. I really liked the island especially because it was just a work surface. I don’t like the islands with a stove or kitchen sink, I think that is so messy when you have guests over. This is a nice kitchen but not my favorite. Thanks for the post.
What color are the walls
Are these cabinets maple? Thank you. Love the wood!
