Fall Decorating with Candles

Although I love that the temperatures are cooling off (it was 90 degrees last week) I’m not too happy about the days getting shorter. I love sunshine and long summer days! To offset the darkness outside, fall decorating with candles is a must in my home. It’s a simple and easy way to add warmth and coziness to your home without a lot of fuss.

Would you believe that this photo was taken during the day? It’s true! I used a super fast shutter speed to let as little light as possible into the lens so it would look like it was dark outside.

  1. I always enjoy burning candles in the late afternoon and evenings once the days get shorter. I like nice autumn scented ones too don’t you? It’s always important to remember to never leave the house with a candle burning. I did this the other day but thankfully I was only out for a few minutes and the glass votive didn’t break. So many house fires are started from burning candles left unattended. Your photos really look cozy. Enjoy. Pamela

  2. Very pretty. I stick with mainly things from nature and candles too. It’s hard to let the beautiful days come to an end. Candles certainly change gloomy to cozy and calm.

  3. I am a huge fan of candles. I am a Bath and Body Works 3 wick candle addict, I am not kidding. When were packing up the house we had two boxes of candles, LOL!! I am so bad that I bought some for the fall while we are at my girlfriends house. How nuts is that??? I love their scents Autumn, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin just name a couple. It is a compulsion, I tell you, LOL!!! Your home is looking stunning for fall, Jennifer, as always!

  4. Such a cozy table. Love the covering on the table and the burlap center. The pumpkins look so perfect and at home in this setting. The candles really add a nice glow and sense of warmth (even if you don’t need warmth)!
