Friday Finds #61: Rest and Relaxation

friday finds August 13, 2021

I just realized it’s Friday the 13th! I’m not superstitious though so there’s no concerns about it on my end. Instead, I’m wrapping up the end of vacation with the family and feeling a little exhausted. I’m looking forward to getting back home and relaxing by the pond and feeding the fish. I always feel like a vacation is needed after vacation to get some rest – if that makes sense.

Shabby chic style. Pink pastel flowers in wicker basket on the bed.

I hate to admit it, but I’ve been thinking about fall decorating and even Christmas decorating. I try to choose a theme for both and I think I have Christmas figured out. Still not sure about fall decor, but I plan to keep it uncomplicated.

I don’t have a whole lot to talk about this week, so let’s get right into this week’s Friday Finds.

If you have a small bedroom in your house, Futurist Architecture has great tips for decorating a small bedroom. The tips will help to create a restful environment.

Do you have a mud room that isn’t working quite right for you? See how to design the perfect mud room.

Sarah at Room for Tuesday created a list of favorite home design Instagram accounts and I have to agree with her list! Let me know if you do, too.

I don’t know about you, but I’m a huge fan of vintage art! If you need help styling vintage art finds, see what Scout and Nimble has to say about it.

And finally, I’ll end with this beautiful North Carolina home. You don’t want to miss it!

I love going on trips but, am always glad to be home and catching up on my sleep and walking around my yard. I love the tour of that N.Carolina home, thanks so much.
