Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
This is just a quick post before the hustle and bustle gets started in my farmhouse kitchen.
I try to get all the cleaning done the days before Thanksgiving.
That way, all I have to focus on is cooking and entertaining.
Yesterday hubby and I picked up our fresh Ho-Ka turkey at Ream’s Elburn Market.
My son grew up with the owner’s son and played on the same baseball team as kids.
People from all over Chicagoland come to Ream’s to buy their meat.
Our fresh turkey was all boxed up. Yesterday I brined the turkey and today we cook it!
In fact, I’m putting it in the oven as soon as I get done with this post!
Hopefully the turkey will look like this when it’s done.
I can’t wait for my family to arrive! It’ll be a full house.
From my humble home to yours …
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
I LOVE your home. My dream home design is something like yours. Happy Thankgiving.
