Let’s Get Campy: Friday Finds #101
Kids are back in school but I’m still in summer fun mode! I recently bought a “comfort” bike for tooling around town and riding at a leisurely pace on local trails and bike paths. It’s nice to bike at a slower pace and enjoy the scenery. I figure I’ll use the bike well into autumn since the Farmer’s Almanac predicts a warmer-than-usual fall season. If you’re looking for an outdoor activity that’s not too strenuous, I highly recommend a comfort or cruiser-style bike.
I don’t know about you, but the coming fall season brings to mind a cozy cabin. A place where you can enjoy a campfire, go leaf peeping in the woods, or ride your new cruiser bike along scenic pathways. Today’s Friday Finds include some fun cabins and fall getaways.
First up is this amazing, Midwestern camp compound that has all the bells and whistles you could want in a home or a retreat.

If you live in the Great Lakes area and are looking for a beautiful place to enjoy the autumn season, look no further than the mitten state. Michigan offers plenty of things to do and see in the fall.

Absolutely beautiful color blue bike. I would love a “red” retro bike. Just like the one I had when I was a child in Astoria, Queens. Back then, Astoria was all country with gorgeous victorian mansions. Oh, Youth!
