Homes to Love from Tennessee to California: Friday Finds

Happy Friday! This weekend I plan to do some cleaning and decluttering. Lately I’ve been feeling the need to simplify life. One of the best ways I can think to do that is by getting rid of stuff I haven’t used in the last year. It’s amazing how quickly things can start to pile up without even noticing what’s happening. So, for the remainder of the year, I’m on a mission to unload unwanted items. Wish me luck! I need to stay focused.

Are you ready for this week’s treasures? It’s always fun to find new things to share.

First up is a beautiful Montecito home. It’s open and airy yet cozy at the same time. The views are amazing and the style is perfect for California.

My laundry room is a disaster. I’ve been putting off giving it a face lift for too long now. But this week I stumbled upon this collection of amazing laundry rooms. I’m feeling motivated to tackle my own space, but it probably won’t happen until 2027.

Better Homes and Gardens shares kitchen color schemes that never go out of style. Would you believe pink and white is one of those combinations? It’s number seven on the list!

Are you a fan of ornamental grasses in the garden? I think they look so pretty and add wonderful architecture the landscape. Pioneer Woman shares ten of her favorite grasses and I see several that I might just add to my own garden beds. See which ones you like!

Are you looking to do some fall entertaining any time soon? Check out this pretty, foraged tablescape in burgundy and pink. It’ll make you want to host a dinner party!

And finally, I’ll leave you with a Tennessee farmhouse renovation you won’t believe. The before photos look like a shambles of a dilapidated house. Meanwhile, the after photos are simply stunning!
