Stunning French Living Room, Home Tours, and More: Friday Finds
Another week is over and the weekend begins! March is right around the corner and that means the crocus will be coming up soon and the robins will return. I can’t wait for spring to arrive! I’m sure you all feel the same way, too.
I’ve featured Courtney’s beautiful work before, but she stopped me in my scroll with her recent living room makeover. She went from white to dark and it’s just stunning!
Take a tour of a countryside cottage in Normandy that’s sure to tug at your heartstrings. Use the arrows to scroll from left to right to see all the images.
I need to do a bit of touch-up painting on the outside of our house once it gets warm outside. Too bad it’s not more exciting like this complete exterior ranch makeover featured at In My Own Style.
Over on my garden blog, I shared my five favorite waterlilies and they’re all pretty sensational. When it gets closer to summer, I’m going to share how to grow waterlilies in a pot so you can enjoy them even if you don’t have a pond.
I found some cute dish-washing accessories that make doing the dishes more fun (is that even possible?).
If you like unique, quirky homes, you really need to check out this chic renovated barn in Hastings-on-the-Hudson.
If you find you need a respite while at home, see This Old House’s tips for creating an outdoor staycation room. You might find some ideas you can implement this summer.
Finally, there’s still time to enter for a chance to win Fifi O’Neill’s book. Head over to my blog post about it.
I love Courtney’s style and idea’s. She has a flair for the dramatic, but making it an everyday livable room. The barn had a treasure trove of loved items. I liked the simplicity of her rooms.
Enjoyed all the house tours and beautiful yards. Always makes for a fun and relaxing time while drinking my morning cup of tea. Thanks and have a relaxing weekend.
Always so interesting and awesome
