Home Tours, Flowers, Mugs and More: Friday Finds
Have you recovered from Christmas yet? Hopefully you can take a moment to yourself right now and enjoy some of today’s treasured finds, including two gorgeous home tours and more. This weekend I plan to get some of the holiday decorations put away and get the rooms back to normal. Are yours put away already or do you like to leave them up until after New Year’s day? My sister had a friend who talked her mom into leaving the tree up until her birthday in March – and they had a live tree! It had to be a fire hazard by March. LOL.

Let’s start today’s finds with a beautiful home tour with soft colors and perhaps the biggest porch I’ve ever seen. Check it out and let me know what you think.
Now’s the time of year I really start to crave seeing flowers in the house. I miss my garden throughout winter and have to rely on store-bought flowers to get me through these months. If you feel the same, here’s a collection of 24 winter flower arrangements from Southern Living magazine.
Do you have a collection of coffee mugs you no longer use but hate to let go of? Here’s a list of creative ideas for repurposing mugs.
I’ve got a second home tour for you. This one is located on Kiawah Island and dressed in gorgeous traditional style. Simply scroll through the photos using the arrows on the side of the photos.
I love these creative kitchen ideas if you’re thinking of a remodel. You’ll find a variety of styles and colors. And even if you’re not in the market for a kitchen redo, I think you’ll enjoy looking at the inspiration.
Winter is the time for comfort food, and this German apple pancake recipe is perfect any time of day when you need a little comforting.
Oh boy, did I love that porch! I would spend more time on the porch than in the house. Those flower arrangements were pretty and I do have lavender that I can mix with dried flowers. I had to pin those coffee cup ideas, so clever. Yes, I have taken down most of my Christmas after being up for a month I was ready. Have a Happy New Year and get busy so we can have a house tour of all you have done, lol!!
Would love to have seen the layout of the 1st house tour.
