The Trending Color of Green and Other Goodies: Friday Finds
Sixteen more days until Christmas, but who’s counting? Are you ready? Hopefully the answer is yes so you can sit back and relax for the next two weeks. I tried to get the majority of my shopping done before Thanksgiving to avoid the rush or avoid items becoming sold out. Today’s Friday Finds include some holiday crafts you can do with kids, among other things – like the best shades of paint for a green kitchen.
Let’s start the day with this pretty Victorian cottage dressed up for Christmas. I especially love the Christmas tree in the kitchen.
Next up is an amazing bedroom transformation. This guest room makeover shows what a transformation bead board and molding can make in any room.
Are there any horse lovers out there? Check out this equestrian-style home office that leaves you feeling like you’re wrapped in a big hug.
If you’re still in the holiday decorating mode, don’t pass up these paper Christmas crafts that look relatively easy (and inexpensive) to make.
Have you heard of the colored kitchen cabinet trend? Cooking spaces are moving away from white to colorful options. Check out this collection of green kitchens I think you’ll love.
And while we’re thinking of the kitchen, enjoy my grandmother’s pot roast recipe that’s easy to make and definitely qualifies as comfort food. Both my grandma and mother would put this roast on to cook before going to church. And voila – Sunday dinner was ready when the family got back home.
Enjoy the upcoming weekend. I’m heading to Chicago to see the Nutcracker ballet – I can’t wait!
Love that kitchen color!
I can’t wait to checkout your pot roast link and am so loving the green kitchen color. I am torn between a muted blue or green for my next project.
