This week I’m joining a group of lovely bloggers to bring you a week of pretty tablescapes. The table tour officially starts tomorrow and to kick things off, I thought I’d share some of my favorite table settings that I’ve shared here on my blog. My mother always set beautiful tables at the holidays and I think her love of pretty dining tables rubbed off on me.
My spring tablescape from earlier this year is one of my favorites. I used my sole vintage tablecloth and lots of spring flowers. I also mismatched the chairs for a twist of something different.
This summertime table setting was lots of fun to put together and it reminds me of Rick Nelson’s song, “Garden Party.” If you’ve never heard the song, you can listen to it here on YouTube.
Here’s my fall tablescape with football mums and baby boo pumpkins. Love those little punkins!
I think this Thanksgiving table setting from a couple years ago might have been the first tablescape I shared on my blog. The china is vintage and the gold silverware is fairly new. I paired a rustic centerpiece with the elegant place settings.
And finally, here’s last year’s Christmas tablescape in red and white. This isn’t all of the table settings I’ve shared on my blog … but they’re some of my favorites.
Some people might think setting the table is a chore, but I think it’s fun and a way to express a little creativity. Our week of pretty tablescapes starts tomorrow and the schedule is below. Be sure to stop back here on Wednesday to see my latest spring tablescape!

Fall through the Christmas season is the time when our family gets together more frequently for shared meals.
