1900s Kitchen Remodel in Navy Blue and White
One thing about historic homes – they don’t always have the best kitchens. They’re typically small and not very functional by today’s standards. Such was the case for a 1900s kitchen remodel by Haven Design and Construction that now proudly displays accents of dark blue against white cabinetry.

Dark blue is trending as an accent color in today’s kitchens. Benjamin Moore’s Hale Navy is an extremely popular choice that adds both drama and classic appeal.
Dark blue accents are repeated in the window valances and upholstered bar stools. Marbled gray and white counter tops and tile back splash help to soften the contrast of white and navy.

Cupboards flanking the industrial stove are painted navy blue, while the rest of the cabinetry is white. The contrast is a great way to break up an otherwise all-white kitchen.

In addition to the 1900s kitchen remodel, the pantry received an update as well. Storage, which is often lacking in older homes, is plentiful in this gorgeous and now functional kitchen.

The dining nook with built-in banquette gets a little bit of glamour with a pretty chandelier and upholstered chairs. Note the details in this space such as the bead board ceiling and the trim inside the transom window over the door.

Love this blue and white kitchen and especially the amount of storage .I am having pantry envy. I have a closet set up as a pantry but would love a walk in area where I could leave out my appliances, have an area for flower arranging and store extra dishes ect. Everything in this remodel is done so well. Thankyou for sharing it with us.
Wow, I rarely comment but this is beautiful. I wish they gave sources. I enjoy all of your posts and am grateful for the time you put in to make my day. Thank you so much…
I had navy kitchen walls and white cabinets 25 years ago. Now my colors are bluishgrey. I might have to go back to navy but change it up a bit!
This kitchen is absolutely stunning! I love navy blue so this really caught my eye – just beautiful!

Pantry envy for sure here. The gray/white brick pattern really provides a nice back drop plus I love the microwave in the island. Can’t beat all the wonderful windows in that kitchen. I’m a big fan of blue and white and this is so well done.
This has got to be my ALL-TIME FAVORITE kitchen. My colors for sure. Thanks so much, Jennifer.
Very well done and love the pantry and colors, tile and that stove. Thanks for this beauty.
I really love the tile in the pantry! Hmmmm…
This is a beautiful kitchen. I am certainly envious of all the storage spaces.
I adore blue and white. The blue and white cabinets, along with the wood tones and baskets really showcase my favorite blue and white ceramic/porcelain pieces. It all goes together perfectly. So clean and bright. How could you not want to be in that beautiful kitchen? And that open shelving is so pretty. I love extra space to display all my favorite things. This is perfect.
Love the 1900s kitchen remodel in navy and white! We are currently building a new home with a navy and white kitchen built around a collection of blue and white plates I inherited from my mom. Any way to find out the tile used for backsplash? Thanks so much.
