A Tale of Two Beautiful Homes and More: Friday Finds
This weekend I hope to start wallpapering the living room! Last weekend I painted the upstairs hall and stairway, so little by little, my interior projects are coming along. Once the wallpaper is hung, I’m tackling the upstairs bathroom (I’ve been saying this for several months now). The challenge is sticking to a budget – I’m sure you can relate.
This week’s Friday Finds includes two home tours in addition some other wonderful treasures. I love the vintage, rustic style interiors of today’s houses. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Coming to you from Tasmania is a charming home tour that belongs to a vintage curator and her ship-building husband. The home is called “Black Swan” and it’s such a treat to explore!
While we’re virtually overseas, let’s take a look at a beautiful waterfront home in Sweden, lovingly dubbed “Villa Valborg.” If you love decorating with neutrals, this house is for you!
Georgian-style kitchens are all the rage right now! See how to get the look over at The English Home. Every detail is covered, from paint colors to hardware and knobs.
We can all probably benefit with help on decluttering the house. Better Homes & Gardens has you covered with their tips for figuring out what to toss and what to keep.
Who loves dahlias? On my other blog, Pond and Garden, I share how to add a little dahlia magic to this year’s garden. These prolific, easy-to-grow bloomers come in a wide varieties – it’s hard to choose just one.
Have a good weekend! I hope my wallpaper job doesn’t frustrate me too much!

Can’t wait to see your wallpaper job, know it will be a beautiful addition to your home. Thanks for these finds.
That first picture is just perfectly simple and charming!
