Create Your Own Coffee Gift Set

Each year I struggle to think of gifts for friends or other special people like a teacher, boss, or co-worker. As I was mulling options that most people would enjoy, it dawned on me to give something universally loved by most people … coffee!  Today I’m sharing how to create your own coffee gift set that you can give to almost any adult in your life. My good friend loves Dunkin’ Donuts® Coffee, and she’s the inspiration for this gift idea.

Rather than wrap up a pound of coffee, I wanted to make her “Dunkin’ at Home” gift a bit special. For starters, you’ll want to find a pretty holiday gift box that can be used later, as opposed to winding up in the trash. This sturdy box would be perfect for storing ornaments or Christmas dishes.

 

It’s large enough to accommodate several packages of her favorite blends of Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee.  She loves Dunkin’ Turbo® in the morning, but I decided to also give her an option she hasn’t tried yet.

 

I shopped at our local Walmart because I know they carry a variety of coffee flavors. From regular roasts to seasonal flavors to the Bakery Series® line-up, I had no trouble finding what I needed for my coffee gift set.

 

My girlfriend loves anything pumpkin flavored so I was super happy to find Pumpkin Spice on the shelf! When you create your coffee gift set, it’s fun to include a couple different flavors. For those who don’t like flavored coffee, you can stick with the basics like Original or Colombian.

 

For the holiday, it’s a fun idea to include a pair of festive coffee mugs. I found these adorable “On Dancer” and “On Prancer” mugs.  Just make sure that your box is big enough to hold the mugs and your coffee selections.

 

If your budget and box size allows, you can include a couple of dessert plates too. Flavored creamers, pretty spoons, fancy sugar, a favorite magazine … there’s so much you can include. Be creative with it!

I may just have to give myself a Dunkin Donuts Coffee gift set this holiday season. For sure I’ll be assembling a few coffee gift sets for friends this year!
