DIY Christmas Stencil Projects
Whew! I think all my Christmas decor has now found a place in my home for the holidays and I can start to focus on some fun stuff like these DIY Christmas stencil projects. My friend Jennifer Rizzo designed a collection of beautiful Christmas stencils and I had the honor of trying them out complements of Royal Design Studio. I’m sharing 2 stencil projects that were really easy to do.
The first stencil project is this festive little Christmas sled.
It looked a little different when I found it at the flea market a couple months ago.
It was painted brown and was flaking horribly.
I scraped off the loose paint and gave it a white wash with chalk paint.
Then came the fun part of creating a stencil design. I used two of Jennifer Rizzo’s patterns.
I used the Reindeer Christmas Stencil and the Holiday Garland Christmas Stencil (photos courtesy of Royal Stencil Designs).
You’ll notice I used only the head portion from the Reindeer stencil.
The stencils are super easy to use. They’re not flimsy like some stencils.
Now my little $15 sled is a little more festive looking.
That was the first of my DIY Christmas stencil projects.
My second Christmas stencil project was a very simple Christmas tree banner.
I used Jennifer Rizzo’s Pine Forest Christmas Stencil for the banner.
I stenciled Christmas trees onto small doilies and then glued them onto sheet music.
I sprinkled some German glass glitter around the edges of the doilies for a little sparkle.
I hung them on a string of twine with wooden clothespins and draped them above the bed.
In just over an hour I created 2 DIY Christmas stencil projects using Jennifer Rizzo’s designs.
Royal Design Studio provided the stencils for this project, but the opinions are my own.

Thanks, Kris! I can’t take credit for that adorable pillow. It’s the artwork of Lucy from Craftberry Bush. You can see her entire pillow collection at http://society6.com/craftberrybush/pillows. They’re reasonably priced. 🙂
