English Decorating and Inspiring Color Palettes: Friday Finds #108

Can you believe it’s already November? We’re still having 60 to 70-degree days here in the Chicagoland area, and this is the latest in the year that my hanging flower baskets are still blooming their hearts out. Maybe I can keep them going until December. LOL. Although I’ve started some holiday planning, I’m not ready to start decorating yet. That’s probably not going to happen until closer to Thanksgiving, which is late for me. But honestly, I sort of just want to enjoy the peace of November before holiday chaos really kicks in.

  1. That dining room was so pretty and that cottage style decorating, I love English cottage style, it’s so pretty, warm, and snuggly. Thanks for these wonderful posts on Fridays, I so enjoy them.

  2. The Swiss Chalet ding room is really stunning. Had to pin that. Also enjoyed the English country look. There is a linen chintz loveseat in our front room that is over 30 years old and remains in perfect condition. Rolled arms and gathered skirt. I still love it, so it is nice to consider it ‘English Country” !
