Five Dollar Dressers
This past week I found not one, but two $5 dressers at the local Thrift Saver. They’re not glamorous. Just simple, utilitarian dressers that get the job done. I was looking for one long dresser but when I spied two of ’em, I figured they’d work just fine. Here’s the after photo …
And of course, I couldn’t leave well enough alone.
I decoupaged the top of each dresser with scrapbook paper I had lying around.
Other projects for his room include accessories like wall art,
maybe an alarm clock or one of those huge wall clocks, and some bedside lighting.
I could make over a little lamp I have on hand or purchase new lamps.
And the walls are going to need a new coat of paint. Ugh!
$10? Now that is a bargain! Could not pass that up, turned out great.
Love it…er them! I can’t believe you got such a deal AND already finished transforming them!
They look great! Nice find!
What a steal!!! You did very well and the redo is so much better than that ugly blue…good job.
I would of bought them too. Seems the dressers I have been seeing lately are way too much, which is probably a good thing for my garage.

Wow, you got a great deal, Jennifer, and they look wonderful now. I love it when a project comes together so nicely like this one, and you did it so affordably–well done!
Another great makeover … and I can’t believe you got such nice dressers for only $10.00. You’re either a super shopper or amazingly blessed!
That is a nice grey that you chose.
I think they look fabulous!!! Man our store never has anything for $5!
