Free Fall Printable ~ Falling Leaves
Happy Labor Day, Everyone!! I hope that you take time to relax and unwind today. To help you enjoy the holiday, I’ve teamed up with 22 other bloggers to bring you a variety of free Fall printables that you can download in your home. Besides the vibrant colors of Fall, one thing I love about the season is shuffling my feet through the fallen leaves, kicking them up and listening to the soft crunch underneath my shoes.
So when I found this quote by John Baily, I knew I was going to use it for today’s free Fall printable. I thought about creating a colorful printable, but then I decided to go for something simpler and used a chalkboard background with white text and graphics, so that the emphasis would reside with the words instead of the image.
To add color to the vignette I used Fall illustrations from an old book.
This one reminds me of a walking trail not too far from my house.
And this one looks like so many of the farmhouses around the nearby countryside.
Except this house has an eerie cemetery in the yard.
“Falling leaves hide the path, so quietly.” I love this quote!
So simple yet it conjures a descriptive image of Fall.
You can download the Fall printable to print and frame or use however you please!
