Home Tours, Purple Perennials, and Green Kitchens: Friday Finds

Welcome to Friday Finds, where I share inspiration that I’ve found throughout the week. The amount of beauty and creativity that’s out there in this world truly amazes me. It’s always fun to enjoy the inspiration that others make, whether it’s a room remodel, a tasty recipe, a fun craft, or a visit to some place charming or exotic. I hope that you find these discoveries as interesting as I do. Today features a couple of home tours, purple perennials, green kitchens, and home decorating ideas.

The color green is trending so it’s no surprise that you’ll often find it in the kitchen Enjoy this collection of green kitchens. I think I like the ninth one best. How about you?

Take a tour of Sea Roost – an adorable cabin style beach cottage in Montauk that you can rent on Airbnb. It’s my idea of a perfect summer rental, except it’s a little expensive. Still, it’s fun to look at.

Normally I’m not a big tablecloth person, but I found this super cute textured tablecloth that I think could also be made into charming curtains. In fact, the whole Etsy store has great tablecloths that can add color and pattern to a summer dining room.

Are you still planting things in your garden beds? Check out my favorite purple perennials to add a little color to your yard. I love mixing purple with pink and a little orange to brighten the landscape.

Does anyone else love cottage style as much as I do? Life on Shady Lane shares cottage inspiration, both inside and out.

I’ll end Friday’s Finds with a three-part country home tour. This house is so beautiful, it’s worthy of three parts. Enjoy part one, part two, and part three. It’s totally worth it!

  1. Great FF! I never had BUMBLEbees in my yard until I planted Purple/Blue Salvia. They LOVE it and will come spend the day foraging it. I could spend the day watching them!
