Colorful Kitchens, Built-in Bookcases + More: Friday Finds
This morning I’m starting my weekend off with a hydrafacial. It’s a little luxury that I like to give myself from time to time. Your face looks like a dewy dumpling afterwards and I can definitely tell a difference in my skin texture for weeks after. And then I’m ending the weekend with my daughter and daughter-in-law enjoying an afternoon tea at a somewhat newish tea house in our area. I’m really looking forward to the scones and tea sandwiches! I haven’t had high tea since our trip to Windsor, England.
Letโs kick off the weekend with this amazing before/after renovation of a Victorian home. Thereโs plenty of pictures to give you a true idea of the extent of this makeover.
Iโve been thinking of adding a built-in bookcase somewhere in my house because I love the look of it. This roundup of bookcases from House Beautiful is getting my creative juices flowing. See which idea you like best.
When it comes to decorating, do you struggle with hanging artwork or other pieces on the wall? Kris shares her very handy tips for hanging artwork.
Next up is a collection of the most colorful kitchens from the show, Home Town featuring Erin and Ben Napier. I love Erin’s style and think you’ll enjoy the kitchen spaces.
When I think of the best place to travel in the fall, I always think of the northeastern part of the country. Check out this fall trip to New Hampshire and youโll feel like youโre there yourself.
You’ll have fun exploring this cozy cabin makeover with before and after photos so you can see all the details and love that went into this transformation.
What do you have planned for the weekend? Anything fun or just some much-needed rest and relaxation?

Loved all the different tours of before and after. Kitchens gave me an idea and so did the bookcases. Have fun and thanks.
