Havin’ a Good Chair Day
I’m in love. Butterflies in my stomach and feelin’ giddy all over. Annie Sloan Chalk Paint is the next best thing to sliced bread. I’ve been reading about this paint all over blogland and finally tried it out on my dining table and chairs. I mentioned in a previous post that I’m making some changes to my dining room and asked for opinions on what color to paint the Windsor chairs. You can see them in their original state here. The popular response was black, but ASCP doesn’t come in black … it does however, come in Graphite.

Hi Jennifer,
WOW! I really love the chalk paint. It gave your furniture wonderful charm.

I love what you did using the chalk paint.Great job!…Christine
Your projects are lovely! I too have seen the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in many posts but have never tried it. I have a bench I have been planning to repaint but it will be on a covered porch. Not sure if the ASCP will hold up outside.
I wonder if I am the only one who hasn’t tried this chalk paint yet. Your projects came out so nice. Great job!
xo,
Danielle
Jennifer, those windsor chairs look AMAZING! Seriously, I’m in love too. You’re working wonders with that chalk paint of yours 🙂 I hope I can try it out soon
Love your chalk paint projects–they look fantastic! I usually don’t care for black but those chairs look really nice. The duck egg blue is a favorite color of mine. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful! Graphite was a great color choice. I also love the duck egg blue chairs. I enjoy seeing blue and orange together as well.

You did a great job distressing that black chair. It looks natural. I added you to my side bar so I can keep an eye on your cute projects like this. 🙂
I haven’t used the chalk paint yet, but I’m certainly loving your projects! The blue chairs are my favorite! Since my favorite color is gray these days, I’m looking forward to seeing your bathroom cabinets!
The blue color is beautiful. I look so Nordic.
Welcome to my small show off.

Hi Jennifer, Love your chairs! The Duck Egg blue is one of the colors I have loved from seeing it in blogland. I have been wanting to try ASCP for a few months now. I bought a sofa table at a yard sale last summer and want to paint it so badly. Starting on a beadboard living room project so probably won’t get to for a while. Now following you.
I really love your light blue chairs, the color is wonderful, highs Anja
Your chairs look great! I see everyone talking about that paint over and over. I haven’t tried it…yet 🙂
That turned out amazing! I think I may need to try some of that AS paint in 2012 …
