Need a Spring Wreath? Look No Further!

One of the simplest ways to decorate for any season is to hang a wreath on the front door, an inside door, or anywhere in the house! I’ve rounded up a collection of spring wreath ideas that are sure to inspire – along with a few links to shopping sites for your convenience. (This post contains affiliate links.)

Yellow Forsythia Wreath on Dark Gray Door

Forsythia is one of the first spring flowers to appear and its branches and pretty yellow flowers make a great wreath to display on a dark door (above).

Dark pink hydrangeas look stunning against a periwinkle door. I just love the color periwinkle – and even its name sounds fanciful and pretty. Early blooming hydrangeas can be used but if you can’t wait until then, opt for faux flowers.

Simple wreaths in a Scandinavian style always look pretty. Hang them on an interior door or in lieu of artwork on the wall.

Simple White Spring Wreath with Heart

I love when wreaths have a little something hanging in the middle. Remember when teddy bears were all the rage for country decorating? I used to hang little teddy bears in the middle of wreaths and give them as gifts. A burlap heart is a fun idea, too.

Easter egg wreaths are always pretty in the springtime. I have a 36-inch egg wreath in storage that I’ll soon display for the season. Easter Sunday is April 12th this year.

If you don’t enjoy the pastel colors of Easter and spring, consider a neutral egg wreath for your decor.

And can I just say how obsessed I am with this elaborate egg wreath? All the details and spectacular color have me mesmerized. It might be a bit too much for some of you, but for me it’s truly a piece of art!

Boxwood greenery pairs with little grape hyacinths to create a darling heart-shaped wreath. I’m going to somehow figure out how to create a wreath with fresh flowers that lasts as long as a cut bouquet. Stay tuned for that project!

A beautiful moss wreath with quail eggs is sure to beautify any room that it graces with its presence. This spring wreath is right up my alley! I should retire and go work for a florist to learn all their tricks and secrets.

  1. Just when I thought that I was IN LOVE with a wreath, the NEXT one became my favorite!!! They are ALL fabulous!
I’ve gotten a little lazy in creating wreaths the past few years. My go to is an extra thick grapevine wreath with a single large hydrangea blossom with greenery tucked around it. I change out the color of the hydrangea in the spring and fall. I do put out a gorgeous Easter wreath much like the first egg one that you showed, but the eggs are various shades of robin’s egg blue. I, like you with your’s, love it! I like my wreath to coordinate with my front porch decor. They really do set the tone of what to expect when that door opens, don’t you think? Thanks for inspiring me today 🙂 As usual!!

  2. What a wonderful assortment of wreaths. Gave me lots of ideas , i love wreaths and have a few hanging all over my house. Thanks and i pinned them.

  3. Love the wreaths BUT where are the square wreaths? Lol! I’m a fan of the square ones for my door. The shape tends to be a hard one to find so I’ve been making my own. I like to be a bit different to add a change from the norm:0)

  4. All these wreaths are simply wonderful. I always make my own wreaths and these inspire me with new and fresh ideas. I understand your feeling of knowing tips and tricks of a florist. I’ve been lucky to have been able to take floral arranging classes in my community center, we have done some fantastic arrangements as well as wreaths , baskets for easter, and other vessels that really make you think outside the box all the while using fresh flowers and honestly nothing beats fresh flowers to perk you up and put a smile on your face.
