Easter Egg Wreath and Spring Vignettes

country style, spring March 10, 2018

Days are getting longer, birds are singing in the trees, and I feel a little pep in my step! Spring is officially just days away and I can’t help but infuse my home with spring vignettes. And I finally have the Easter egg wreath I’ve wanted for years!

Easter Egg Wreath and Spring Vignettes

I love this particular Easter Egg wreath for its neutral tones. I didn’t want one too colorful. It also has a lot of texture to it. The wreath is from Antique Farm House, although I don’t think it’s available any longer.

On one end of my dining room is a trio of candle holders that I used in my fall sitting room. I added a pale pink vase with faux ranunculus.

My favorite ficus plant takes center stage on the buffet in front of vintage mirrors. I just love the delicate appeal of this easy-care houseplant. I have two of them!

The spring vignette on the left side of the buffet contains new items from my favorite store, Cocoon. A framed, botanical print joins a bouquet of faux lily of the valley and a pretty ceramic flower pot … and a few little white birds.

This little ceramic flower is actually a candle with the most amazing Gardenia fragrance. When I was in the store I kept smelling Gardenias and had to find the source of it. I was so glad it was something I could bring home with me!

To add a little color to the spring vignette underneath my Easter egg wreath, I added this pretty blue swirl vase. I want to plant Lily of the Valley out in the yard. I have the perfect spot for them!

Don’t forget to turn your clocks forward tonight!

It’ll be so nice to enjoy more light at the end of the day!

This space looks amazing. I can almost smell the Gardenia candle…oh wait, that’s the blooming gardenia at the front door! 😉
Although I would not trade our 75degree weather, I am “jealous” that we cannot grow my FAVORITE plant, lily of the valley, here.
When I was around 6 years old, I needed a crown for an event and my ingenious Dad made the most beautiful crown of faux lily of the valley for me. I still have the pictures and I still love the flower.

I love your Spring vignette and the egg wreath is a perfect neutral. In fact, your arrangements are always beautifully simple and organic. I love lily of the valley. We had them growing as ground cover in a large flower bed when I was a child – and they are also my birth month flower. May’s flower is lily of the valley and it suits me perfectly.

Your Spring decor is perfect! I love that wreath! Lily of the Valley was my my Mom’s favorite flower. The scent always reminds me of her.
