Renovated Farmhouse: Charming Home Tour
Today we’re headed to rural Georgia to tour a renovated farmhouse by Historical Concepts.  The farmhouse had served as a weekend retreat and was converted to a full-time residence. An expansive addition created room for a kitchen, master suite, and outdoor rooms. The transformation is quite lovely.
Ready to take a peek inside?
Step into the foyer and enjoy a vintage light fixture suspended from a shiplap ceiling. Wood floors can stand up to traffic coming in and out the front door with its sidelights and transom window.
The living room features a cozy fireplace for warming up cool evenings. A beautiful landscape oil painting mimics the scenery seen outside.
More shiplap graces the hallway with yet another vintage pendant light.
Warm wood furniture adds a county vibe with brown transferware flanking the walls of the renovated farmhouse.
Expansive windows let in natural light while a faux brick floor pairs beautifully with a copper farmhouse sink.
Outdoor living spaces are abundant in this renovated farmhouse. An outdoor fireplace provides hours of evening entertainment, perfect for a lingering meal.
A porch swing provides space to while away the afternoon hours. Grab a book and curl up for an hour or two!
Back inside, a sleeping porch creates a magical room for dozing off.
A bead board ceiling and planked walls envelope a classic cannonball bed.
What could make this renovated farmhouse even more enjoyable? Â An outdoor pool, complete with a covered area for entertaining!

Liked it All . Thanks
This is such a lovely home- even with the reno, it still retains its’ farmhouse feel.
Ok this is my new dream house.
Are those tile countertops that I see in the kitchen??
I cringe every time I see tile countertops being destroyed in renovations. When I was growing up some homes in our neighborhood had tile countertops but ours were nailed Formica. I always wished we had the tiled ones but I do remember how rough they were on china and glassware!
Love this house and spaces.
Love, love, love this house! Wish I could move in tomorrow!!! Thanks for posting.
This is a dreamy place to live, it has all i have dreamed of. Thanks it made my day.
Loved the brown transferware with the tan and white love seat down the hall. So very cozy looking. I wonder where they found the lampshades for the candlestick lamps setting on the dresser (they too, mimicked brown transferware). Thank you for sharing.
What colour are the kitchen cabinets please.
