Sensational Cottage Decorating for the Spring Season: Friday Finds
We’re just two months away from the first day of spring! January has gone by pretty quickly, and February is short, so I’m remaining hopeful that the winter doldrums won’t drag on. For now, I’m enjoying quiet days indoors, trying new recipes, thinking about what book to read next, and perusing the internet for decorating inspiration – some of which I’m including in this week’s round of Friday Finds.
Who’s ready for a taste of spring? Let’s start off this week’s finds with the beautiful living room of Tamara who blogs at Citrine Living. Her decorating style is like a breath of fresh air!
Next up, explore 12 sustainably stylish homes in the UK. You’ll walk away with new ideas to decorate your home in an eco-friendly way.
Discover an utterly charming historic coastal cottage with plenty of places to read and relax with a view of the water just outside the window. It’s truly a magical home.
I’m on a diet but this dreamy French cake (aka gateau basque) looks absolutely worthy of my taste buds – diet or not! I may have to bake it for my son’s Super Bowl party. That way I can limit myself to a small slice and let everyone else eat the rest!
I have to give a shout out to this adorable Cape Porpoise cottage because it’s very near where we stayed when we went to Maine a couple summers ago. I would love to move there except I fear Maine winters might be worse than those in Illinois!
We’ll end today’s lineup with helpful ideas to get the cottagecore look in your home. I’m in love with this design aesthetic and I think it’s perfect for the upcoming spring season!
Love Tamara’s blue n white living room. Where can I find the great jute area rug with the chunky border.
These were places, that have you seeing what you could change in your own home. I love Cottagecore decorating.
I really enjoyed your post today, especially the pink and green cottage core ideas. It gave me so many great ideas. Then I checked out the “Ruff Details” site…Again, thanks so much! I do so appreciate all that you share.
It is about 12 degrees here, with fresh snow, and frozen pipes in my laundry room.
So, I needed your pretty inspiration today!
