Summer Porch Inspiration

June is just a week away and it’s time to start thinking about summer living!  Summer is my favorite season because I love the warmth and sunshine. And one of my favorite places to enjoy warm breezes is on a summer porch. To give you some fresh ideas and inspiration, I’ve collected a round-up of open air and screened porches. I think you’ll enjoy them all!

We start with one of my favorite screened-in porches at Doreen’s home who blogs at Hymns and Verses. I love her vintage porch furniture in light colors. Even the curtains are charming!

Sometimes the simplest of porches are the most endearing. And every front porch should have at least one rocking chair (or glider or swing)!

  1. So many pretty porches and so many good ideas! I like the collage so I can pin everything at one time. Hubs overwintered some of the porch flowers in the greenhouse and they are now residing on the summer porch. He started some flowers in the greenhouse and we are blessed with lots of nurseries and big box stores close by for annuals and perennials.

  2. I grew up with a metal glider and rocker like Doreen’s. It’s on my outside home decor “bucket list.”
I love your simple and pared down summer porch. I think it is your best porch yet!

  3. This was a most enjoyable time spent looking at all these great porches, thanks and have a great holiday.

  4. thank you so much for sharing my front porch. it’s actually going through some growing pains right now and I am making some changes. our newest stray that showed up keeps chewing the arms to the wicker chairs so I moved them and need to look for something else that’s dog proof!
