Swedish and Welsh Country Home Tours: Friday Finds
It’s always a blessing when the weather is nice on a fall weekend. Tomorrow we’re headed out for the Cottages of the Woods event in Geneva that we attended last year. We had so much fun and it looks like the weather will cooperate again this year. I should really do some interior painting at home, but I hate to be inside this time of year if the weather is nice.
For today’s Friday Finds, I found more treasures to inspire you. So grab your coffee and take a look!
Let’s start the day with a beautiful Dutch blue kitchen that completely captured my heart. I recently painted my kitchen Dutch Tile Blue by Sherwin Williams and this cozy kitchen is giving me ideas for the curtains, among other things.
Next, let’s head over to Sweden to tour Sanne’s beautiful country home. She has a unique gift for discovering vintage finds and using them throughout her house.
The Welch House 1900 shares how to make vintage refrigerator magnets which I think are so cute. It can be hard to find magnets that match your home décor, so this DIY project is a great solution.
How about heading to Wales to view a Welsh farmhouse with a unique dining table? The entire home is spectacular.
Next up is a beautiful English cottage bedroom with the dreamiest of wallpapers? This room makes me want to curl up for a long winter’s nap.
Finally, are you getting ready for Halloween? One of my favorite DIY projects for this spooky holiday is my DIY gauze ghosts. You can place them anywhere and they’re super easy to create. Use them as a centerpiece, hang a few from the porch ceiling, or create a fun collection on the floor.
Have you been enjoying your fall weekends?
I’m also planning on going to Good Templar Park tomorrow to see the cottages, and hopefully finding something special to buy. My husband and I went to Sweden this past June, and I fell in love with it. Perhaps I’ll see you tomorrow!
The Swedish house has flawless decor, love it. The little yellow house is quaint and cosy.
This Friday Finds was a real beauty. I love all the tours and that kitchen painted blue was so pretty. Have a great rest of the weekend. You can paint when it’s too cold, have fun.
