This Amazing Sage Green Kitchen Is the Perfect Renovation

Soft color palettes and natural wood tones continue to dominate kitchen design, and this stunning sage green kitchen by Kindred Design shows exactly why. With its painted cabinetry, warm wood island, exposed ceiling beams, and sculptural lighting, the space feels both timeless and fresh. The overall design blends modern farmhouse warmth with a clean transitional aesthetic, creating a kitchen that feels welcoming without sacrificing sophistication.

One of the standout features of this kitchen is the way the muted green cabinetry grounds the space while still keeping it airy and light. Paired with white countertops, a geometric backsplash, and warm wood finishes, the room strikes a beautiful balance between cozy and refined. Black accents in the lighting and hardware add contrast and help define the space without overwhelming it.

The adjoining dining area continues the same relaxed elegance with warm wood furniture, layered textures, and oversized windows that flood the room with natural light. Every detail feels intentional yet comfortable, the kind of kitchen designed not just for cooking, but for gathering, lingering, and enjoying everyday life.

The large wood island becomes the centerpiece of the sage green kitchen, offering plenty of seating and workspace. The warm base adds richness and contrast against the lighter painted cabinetry and marble counter tops.

  1. I really like many things about this kitchen, starting with the cabinet color, the contemporary touches, the storage space, and the combination of metals and colors. I also appreciate the size – not huge, but roomy enough for more than one person to use at the same time. Thanks!

  2. Very nice kitchen and love the colors. Only thing I would change (and no one asked) is to paint the kitchen table black or very dark green almost black.

  3. Like how all the wood tones blend in so well together and the nice color of the cabinets. The island being wood rather than painted gives warmth. Love that they have upper cabinets (not a fan of open shelving), and that the sink is on an outside wall and not in the island. Very nice kitchen.
