Easiest Fall Wreath Ever!
Shorter days signal the time to start decorating in warm colors and one of the first things I do is plant a few mums and swap out the front door adornment. Here’s an easy fall wreath you can make in a matter of minutes for your front door – or for inside, too!
If you’re like me, you love a natural looking wreath, something with burnt orange berries that resemble bittersweet. I love the look of bittersweet, but it’s a little overpriced so I don’t typically buy it.
I found floral sprigs at the craft store that have a natural look to them and knew they’d made a great looking natural wreath for my front door. All you need to create this simple Fall wreath is a grapevine wreath, several floral sprigs, and a hot glue gun.
Take the stem of your floral spray and carefully insert it into the loose weave of the grapevine wreath. You might find that the stem pokes back out of the grapevine wreath on another side.
No biggie! Simply bend the protruding stem and tuck its end back into the wreath. It blends right in!
Once the stem is tucked inside the grapevine wreath, carefully hot glue a few branches of your floral spray onto the wreath to keep it in place. If you want to re-use the grapevine wreath form, you can use florist wire to attach a couple of the branches to the grapevine.
Keep working your way around the grapevine wreath, attaching the floral sprays until the wreath is filled. You could also attach just one floral spray and leave the rest of the grapevine wreath exposed. That’s what I love about working with grapevine wreaths … they’re both functional and pretty.
And in a matter of minutes, you have a new Fall wreath for your front door!
The best part of a DIY fall wreath is that you’ll save about half the price of one that’s already done for you.
Be sure to come back tomorrow when I share part of my fall home tour – along with several other blogger homes decorated for the season!

Your wreath is gorgeous, Jennifer. I am really enjoying a few minutes looking at all the beautiful things my friends have made!
LOVE this wreath! I adore bittersweet but don’t want to pay the price either. You did a great job of capturing that same look!

Very pretty, Jennifer. I like saving money by making my own wreaths. Have a good week.

A very classy fall wreath.
this is my kind of wreath! I love it! I love everything you do Jennifer 🙂
Good morning Jennifer.
I live across The Lake from you but I love those picks you found. Were they at a store that might be available in my area? My decorating has begun. Trying not to overdo but really hard to reign myself in when I have so many pretty fall decorations and I can’t stop making and purchasing them. Stop the madness.!!! HeeeHeee. Have a great day and a fun fall.
Hi Vicky!
I got them at Michaels. I find they have the most realistic faux foliage. You can also try Hobby Lobby it Joann’s for something similar.
Your wreath is so pretty, i love the idea of using berries and it looks great on your front door.
Just beautiful! Love it.
Simple, Beautiful and easy peasy.
