7 Small Space Dining Ideas
In our busy world, it’s easy to grab your dinner and have a seat on the couch to dine while watching the evening news (or in my case, taped episodes of Judge Judy). But maybe the world would be a better place if we consistently enjoyed a small space dining area where meals are intimate and conversation is flowing.

Remember that? The art of conversation? I’m going to challenge myself to spend more meals at an intimate table and less time in front of the tube. Imagine sitting at this farmhouse style table sharing ideas and talking about the day’s activities.

A corner banquette makes the most of small space dining and look how cheery it is with its fun color and patterns. How could you not start the day off on the right foot if you take your coffee here?
I love this galvanized table for four with farmhouse style cross-back chairs. A script shade on the pendant light is the finishing touch, while the chalkboard reminds you to choose joy!

I’m so glad this homeowner selected red chairs for their small space dining nook. The vivid color helps wake you up for the day.
A setting for two awaits a couple on an enclosed porch. Give your home a critical eye and see where you might be able to set up a small space dining area. This is so cozy with lots of good feels!
And while the weather permits, enjoy a rendezvous and good meal on the porch. Even a glass of wine and charceuterie board will do.

What do you think? Is the joy of table dining reserved for restaurants alone, or do you still take your meals in a designated area of your home (other than the couch)?

11 Cozy Breakfast Nooks to Start Your Day
Since I live alone, the choice is pretty much mine alone as to where I eat a bite or drink my coffee or tea. It actually depends on a couple of things – if my meal is cooked and on a plate, I sit at my table and watch the neighborhood cats , the birds and various small critters that come and go in my back yard. If I’m eating just a sandwich, or a bowl of soup or cereal, then I’m usually in my chair in front of the TV, watching to see if QVC is showing something I absolutely can’t live without. :>) With just a cup of coffee or tea, that usually puts me in front of my computer, catching up on emails and Facebook. I guess it’s wherever the spirit moves me. It’s always good to have options.
These are some pretty spaces. Just this last spring i redid some of my kitchen so i could have a small eating area in it for two. I live here alone but have a big dining room for holidays so there’s plenty of room for us all. I eat my breakfast and lunch in my kitchen but i do eat my salad at night in front of the tv.
There is only two of us and while I have a small dining table we both tend to gravitate to the t.v.. It is a bad habit I know but suits us.
Im with Kim. Tv! Empty nest.
Thank you for sharing. I love picture 3.
