A Modern Country Kitchen in Beautiful Blue-Gray Tones
Let’s take a break from all the holiday decorating to tour a stunning, modern country kitchen by Kristina Crestin Design. Dressed in beautiful blue-gray tones, the room is stunning from every angle. What’s more, there are plenty of windows so you get great views during meal prep.

I don’t know which caught my eye first – the custom cabinetry or that wonderful slate floor. Add the high-end marbled countertops and the gold hardware, and you’ve got a winning combination.

Look at that pastoral view out the windows! I always feel like a house should be designed with outside views in mind. Windows should be strategically placed to take advantage of the most scenic sight lines, and this kitchen doesn’t disappoint in that regard. And the leather bar stools are the perfect choice to enhance a modern country kitchen vibe.

Sconce lighting above the windows mimic the pendant light above the expansive kitchen island, which is a great, cohesive touch. This view of the kitchen really shows off the richness and texture of the slate floor.

Let’s not ignore the smaller details, like wooden crates stacked atop each other to hold favorite bottles of wine. The two-toned windows add a bit of dimension and character to the modern country kitchen.

Aqua blue tumblers are displayed on a French mug holder.

This view shows how the kitchen opens up to the family room, which looks just as pretty as the kitchen. To top it all off, worn ceiling beams add a bit of rusticity to the space. What’s not to love?

Any way to learn the blue-grey cabinet paint color in the headliner Rustic Country kitchen?
Hi Marnie!
The designer says it’s Benjamin Moore Quarry Rock. It’s a beautiful color!

I love those windows in the kitchen but, I’d need a comfy chair to sit in.
Love how open it all is to the outdoors. Noticed that there are no upper cabinets. There are plenty of drawers but hope there is a large walk-in or butler’s pantry somewhere for food, glassware, etc.
I love the color of the cabinets. Thank you for sharing!
