Cabin Style Kitchen from Creative Cain Cabin

Hello friends! I have a special kitchen to share with you today – it’s a cabin style kitchen that belongs to my friend Dawn who blogs at Creative Cain Cabin. She was one of the first bloggers I ever started following and she’s also part of our cozy living team that posts about cozy stuff on the first Saturday of every month.

No one has a kitchen like Dawn’s, and that’s partly why I love it so much. Gorgeous wood plank walls pair with white recessed door cabinets and a beautiful kitchen island dated the year her home was built.

Look at the rich, wide plank hardwood floor. I would love to have a floor like Dawn’s.

Dawn’s cabin style home is located in a beautiful area in southwest Michigan not far from my sister’s place. The area is woodsy with rolling hills and beautiful country roads.

Cabin Farmhouse Kitchen

A farm style table creates a dining space adjacent to the cabin style kitchen. A simple valance adorns the window above the kitchen sink. I’m a fan of unfussy window adornments.

Like my own kitchen, Dawn has a painted wainscot back splash. This is the easiest stuff to keep clean – everything wipes off so easily.

Dark counter tops lend a touch of drama in the cabin style kitchen with a pretty French door at the far end.

Take a step back and you can see how spacious Dawn’s home is with its open concept floor plan. Isn’t it beautiful? I just love her home!

  1. It is beautiful i love her kitchen, and her home. I have a cousin who has a log home on his 40 acres with a stream, it is a beautiful place and so peaceful. Thanks Jennifer, that pantry door was so cute.
