A Stunning Cottage Renovation and More: Friday Finds

This weekend, one thing I won’t be doing is wallpapering because my living room is finished! I’ll try to take some photos in the next day or two so I can share them with you next week. Since we’re heading into a bitter cold weekend, there’ll be plenty of time for photos since I don’t plan to go anywhere, except to the grocery store. A co-worker of mine gave me a recipe for vegetarian pot roast using jackfruit as the meat substitute. I’ve never tasted jackfruit so this should be interesting. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes – but let me know in the comments if you have a favorite jackfruit recipe. Now, let’s move on to Friday Finds. There’s some good ones today.

The color peach has been making a comeback over the past couple of years. When I was first married, I painted our primary bedroom Jummel Peachtone by Benjamin Moore and I loved it due to its warm undertones and perky attitude. Southern Living magazine shares their top paint colors for peachy interiors if you’re inclined to add this shade to your home.

I think my favorite find today is this 1860’s cottage renovation in New Orleans. I love the colors and fabrics used throughout the home.

I hope you have a restful and productive weekend. Stay warm if you live in the north!

  1. These were all fun to see and I always enjoy seeing what you have for us. Getting ready for this cold blast we’re getting ready for in Oklahoma is not fun but, this certainly was, thanks and have a great weekend.

  2. I’ve just been talking to one of my daughters about painting her kitchen a peachy pink color, so the article from Southern Living is very helpful….thanks!
