Beautiful Low Country Cottage and More: Friday Finds

Today I’m heading to Chicago for a day of fun because it’s my birthday!! We’re taking in an augmented reality show followed by dinner at Shaw’s Crab House. It’s supposed to be sunny and 60 degrees by afternoon so it’ll be nice to walk around the city and along the river. I always enjoy visiting the Windy City. But let’s get on with this week’s Friday Finds – there’s a lot to explore.

First up is a charming low-country cottage that reminds me of old southern style. The artwork in the kitchen is fun and cheerful, and it feels like the perfect. home.

Next, take a peek at Randi Garrett’s beautiful kitchen dressed for spring. The flowers sure do add a feminine ambiance to this elegant space.

It’s easy to feel down or depressed in winter. Days are shorter, more time is spent outside, and it’s common to feel lethargic. Yvonne shares her favorite decorating tricks for lightening the mood in your home and I agree with everything she says.

Check out this master bedroom refresh that includes the best decoration ever – a pair of cute dogs. The rich neutral decor makes the room feel cozy and the fur balls are an added bonus.

Next weekend I’m having the family over for our annual winter birthdays party. I think I’m going to serve favorite comfort foods, including this yummy chocolate chip skillet cookie, which tastes best with ice cream!

Enjoy your weekend and if the weather cooperates, maybe get outside for a leisurely stroll!
