Affordable Outdoor Kitchen Idea That’s Pretty, Too!

Today I’m excited to share an affordable outdoor kitchen idea by DeGoey Designs that also happens to be quite pretty. I’m definitely filing this space away for next year’s outdoor plans. We just added a new paver patio area and I think a smaller version of this kitchen would work perfectly in that space. (This post contains affiliate links.)

I love everything about this setup. The grill isn’t too large and there’s enough counter space and storage area. You can find affordable grills and outdoor tables to create an affordable outdoor kitchen like this. The designer is located in Des Moines, Iowa. I wonder if that’s too far away for her to work with me?

The metal rods are perfect for hanging mugs or cooking utensils. Small galvanized tubs make perfect serving pieces. I like that thought was given to organization while cooking and serving. Not to mention the mix of wood and stone that makes this space attractive to look at.

How clever is this idea for putting herbs into kokedama balls? I shared how to create moss ball containers like this on my blog – I like the idea of using this Japanese idea for herbs.

Here, a corkscrew rush kokedama is hanging from a shepherd’s hook. Corkscrew rush thrive in garden ponds, too.

A beautiful outdoor dining table is located near the kitchen space. The coziness of this layout is really appealing.

At night, ceramic lanterns add a romantic ambiance. Make them do double-duty by using citronella candles inside. Your guests will thank you!
