Apple Cake with Caramel Sauce: 19 Apple Recipes
Happy Tuesday! Are you ready for 19 delicious, homemade apple recipes? I’m joining 18 blogger friends to share fresh and tasty recipes – mine is a super moist apple cake with yummy homemade caramel sauce.
First, let me give a shout out to my friend Kristen at Ella Claire for organizing today’s fall apple recipe blog hop. I know I’m going to be doing a lot of baking in the upcoming weeks!
I chose to make an apple cake recipe that I found in one of my favorite cook books. It’s one of the moistest cakes I’ve ever made and the flavor is amazing.
While the cake is baking, your kitchen will fill with the wonderful scent of fall.
And the caramel sauce? I don’t think you’ll ever buy caramel sauce at the store after tasting the homemade version – and it’s so easy to make. It tastes great on ice cream, too.
Drizzle a little of the sauce on top and finish it off with a dollop of whipped cream for an amazing dessert that’s perfect for family and guests alike. The apple cake tastes great all by itself without any garnishment. Trust me – you’ll love it!
I found this recipe in Martina’s Kitchen Mix cook book. All of the recipes I’ve tried from this book have been fabulous.
