Beautiful Small Space Bedrooms, a Vintage Collection Home + More: Friday Finds

Whew! Christmas is over and it’s time to look forward to a new year and new opportunities. I’ve decided to make 2025 a year for self improvement. I just started an Invisalign treatment to straighten my teeth and next I’m consulting a dermatologist for skin care. I already see the dermatology doctor for skin cancer, which I had removed about a year ago. There hasn’t been any reoccurrence, which I’m grateful for, but now I’d like to even out my skin tone. I also want to lose about 10-15 pounds, which I think will be easier while I’m doing the Invisalign because you have to remove the trays from your teeth every time you eat, so I find I’m eating less. I’ll let you know how it goes!

And now, I’m excited to share this week’s treasures. I love every single one of today’s features and I hope you will too!

Let’s start with a vintage collector’s home tour. The house is owned by Denise, owner of Denise’s Adornments in Geneva, Illinois. Her home was also featured in Creatively Christmas, a book written and photographed by my blogging friend, Jennifer Rizzo. My house is also featured in this book. I never tire of seeing Denise’s home. It’s decorated very similarly to her successful store.

  1. I don’t have a hallway like the ones in your post. But I do have a landing that works perfectly for my small home office. A slim desk, comfy chair and my desktop computer. Lighting from a floor lamp, also from a window that faces north, so I added a faux stained-glass feature there.
