Charming Home Tour ~ Along the Dirt Road
Kelli from Along the Dirt Road is yet another blogger who I met first on Instagram. I love how our world is so connected these days! Twenty years ago I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to meet all the amazing and talented women I know today through blogging. Kelli lives on a farm and has an affinity for farmhouse style and country living. Take a tour through her charming home with me!
Kelli has a spacious and bright kitchen! I love that she incorporates a modern country style throughout her home. It fits well with her farm life and has a flair for convenience and easy living.
Her cabinetry has bead board detailing and the kitchen is beautifully styled with wood floors and white painted cabinets.
A red and white enamel table pairs with colorful red kitchen table chairs.
Kelli recently painted her dining room a soft gray, lending an air of understated sophistication. I love the view out the window … you can see the beauty of the farm just outside.
When you live on a farm, your home is all about comfort because farming is hard work (my sis owns a farm in Michigan). Kelli has incorporated plush, leather seating in her pretty family room. Whimsical pillows add color and interest.
A simple row of blue mason jars lines Kelli’s mantel.
A pair of old ladders stand guard at either side.
A beautiful rag garland adorns the wall above the piano, while a guitar hangs on a wall waiting to be strummed. A fur throw provides a little softness when sitting on the piano bench.
Kelli’s entryway is bright and cheery, a great first impression for guests who enter.
You’ll find pretty vintage items in Kelli’s home, like this dresser in her master bedroom.
I love this fun pajama pillow that graces Kelli’s bed.
Kelli has a menagerie of pets on her farm, including these 2 goats, Myrtle and Peanut. She also raises chickens.
Be sure to see more of Kelli’s farmhouse style at Along the Dirt Road.

Loved the tour!!! May I ask how you secured the platters over the dining room window. The picture was too far away to make it out. Great idea!!!
I love the panelling on the kitchen cabinets & the island!
