Charming Home Tour ~ Cedar Hill Farmhouse

You’re in for a special treat today, because we’re touring the country farmhouse of Anita at Cedar Hill Farmhouse in Texas. I love this ranch style home not only for its pretty decor, but because of the amazing views it enjoys. Anita also has a city house but we’re saving that tour for another day. So are you ready for a Texas style tour of her charming home?

Anita’s ranch style farmhouse provides the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

 

Inside, a French style living room provides comfy seating with cushy furniture and a Swedish bench.

Anita has a great eye for design and every room she touches has a special charm.

 

Adjacent to the living room is the dining and kitchen space. Did you see the cowhide rug?

Rich wood cabinets lend an elegant and classy feel to this farmhouse kitchen.

 

The master bedroom is pretty and peaceful. The pastoral oil painting hints at the views outside.

Bead board below the chair rail and a white bed add a bit of cottage style.

 

The girls’ bedroom is hands-down my favorite children’s room in all of blogland.

I fell in love with this quaint room the first time I saw it. Aren’t the little dresses above the beds adorable?

Such a unique touch, and I love the use of textiles for the bedding and the rug.

 

Stepping outside on the back porch, a vintage iron daybed awaits.

The Adirondack style rockers provide additional seating while a steamer trunk serves as a table.

 

Anita and her family enjoy most of their meals at the farmhouse here on the back porch.

A beautiful cabinet keeps dishes close at hand.
