Charming Home Tour ~ Dimples and Tangles

Sunday is my favorite blogging day of the week because I get to feature the beautiful homes of my fellow bloggers. Since so many of you tell me you love these tours, I plan to keep doing them for a while. Today’s charming home tour is filled with oodles of style and strategic accents of color. Jennifer at Dimples and Tangles artfully brings traditional flair to her pretty house.

A sunburst window over the front door sheds light into Jennifer’s impressive entry way, which sets the tone of color and style for the rest of the home tour.  Bold patterns and accent colors are applied in just the right amount of artistic strokes throughout each room.

 

A brick fireplace takes center stage in the living room, where colorful pillows and accents of green lend a rich interest to the space.

 

Gold accents populate white cabinets in Jennifer’s kitchen, while a brick floor adds rustic appeal. Unique pendant lights add an element of fun above the kitchen island, while a gold bust on the counter creates a quirky planter.

 

An emerald green hutch in the dining room adds a refreshing shot of color in the black and white dining room. A stunning chandelier is suspended over a pretty floral and feathered centerpiece.

 

Another chandelier finds its way into Jennifer’s master bedroom, where the signature green color makes its appearance. I love the touch of pink in this room … pink and green has always been a favorite color combination of mine. Rich navy grounds the room and adds a bit of drama.

 

Speaking of green, I love this hallway with mirrors trimmed in green!

 

Emily’s bedroom has fun striped walls and touches of primary colors, red and yellow.

 

You’ll find more touches of red in Jennifer’s son’s bedroom with a planked wall.

And did you notice the fun ceiling fan?
