    1. Hi Leisa!  Thanks for letting me know. I updated the link to the Adirondack towns.  You can find that article here:  https://www.worldatlas.com/cities/8-fairy-tale-small-towns-in-the-adirondack-mountains.html

  1. I do have a few mirrors and actually they are placed exactly as they’re suppose to be, surprising!! Thanks, I always enjoy your Friday Finds.

  2. I haven’t tried any of those coffee’s but I would think olive oil might be greasy. I love mirrors and I do have many and still have. LOL Off to look at Fairytale Towns I need to cheer up.

    1. Hi Diana! The olive oil coffee I tasted at Starbuck’s in Chicago was actually quite good. I haven’t been able to find out out here in the ‘burbs. I hope the fairytale towns were able to cheer you up!

  3. Jennifer,
I do appreciate your posts; guess I have taken you for granted. Sorry about that. I live in Oneida NY, upstate/CNY but have also lived in and visited the North Country towns and villages all my life. As pretty as those photos, etc. look and sound on the ad you featured, poverty is the honest picture there. Everyone lives for the tourist season, many businesses are open only summer, leaf peeping fall and winter, if lately they even have snow. And with no rain for a few seasons, the fall leaf trips have dwindled, everything is just brown. Last winter we had a ton of snow out of nowhere that was hit and miss- Someplaces had nothing, and others were buried! Like my son and DIL in Camden! I would invite anyone, everywhere to come to true upstate NY, also the Hudson Valley, Catskills and Finger Lakes regions. Get a real look at NYS, beyond the City. It is beautiful, historic and worth exploring.

    1. Hi Susan! Thank you for this information. It’s sad to hear that places live for tourist season and struggle other times of the year. I have never been to upstate New York but it’s on my bucket list. I need to make a trip out there soon and enjoy its natural beauty. Sounds like there’s so much to explore!
