Discover Unmatched Elegance and Functionality of a Custom Designer Kitchen
Are you ready to discover the custom details of today’s designer kitchen by Laura Design Company? Photographed by Emily Kennedy, you’ll enjoy seeing unmatched elegance and cozy details in a functional kitchen decorated in neutral tones. Although this is a high-end kitchen, it feels comfortable and casual.
Creamy, Shaker-style cabinets pair with black-marbled counter tops and a few open shelves for farmhouse appeal. Brushed nickel hardware adds a bit of class and interest. And note the painted wood ceiling which lends a touch of texture overhead.
The spacious kitchen enjoys a large window over the stove, with an impressive kitchen island for breakfast seating. French cutting boards mimic the rich wood of the floors below.
A pair of copper pendant lights give a European vibe in the custom designer kitchen. Woven bar stools enjoy a texture all their own. The space is personalized with small prints, live branches and flowers, and small collectibles on the shelves.
A unique light fixture on the wall embodies two flame-style lights inside. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a light like that. Subway tiles add just a touch of sheen beneath the Shaker cabinetry which is so popular today. I immediately spied the cookbook, Ruffage: A Practical Guide to Vegetables, on the top shelf. That same cookbook is in my own kitchen and contains great information on getting more fiber in your diet.
An old black hutch on the other side of the kitchen peninsula displays beautiful white ironstone. I love how the black cabinet echoes the color of the counter tops. Black always adds a little drama and sophistication to any room.
A faded runner provides softness underfoot between the chef’s stove and farmhouse sink. Large windows above the stove and in the adjoining dining area provide plenty of natural light in this truly beautiful designer kitchen. The custom hood vent reminds me of European kitchens that I’ve seen. Do you see the pedestal bowl filled with artichokes and other vegetables? I’d love to find that some bowl.
I hope you enjoyed exploring today’s designer kitchen by Laura Design Company. The details make it beautiful, while the layout makes it highly functional.
