Beautiful Pastel Kitchens Create Simple Serenity and Style

In keeping with the spring fever I’ve been feeling these days, I’m sharing a beautiful collection of pastel kitchens that evoke a serene vibe while creating plenty of pretty style. When I was first married I loved decorating in soft pastel tones and that part of me has never truly gone away. In fact, I find myself leaning back into it.

This pale blue vintage kitchen is definitely a room I would’ve loved in my early decorating years. The kitchen island looks like the lower half of the Hoosier cabinet I had in my first house. The red Oriental rug lends a bit of sophistication and energetic color to the otherwise cool space.

The palest of yellows creates a cozy feeling in a farmhouse kitchen with bead board walls. This hue is a good option if you want a sunny hue without the vibrance of a bolder yellow.

Would you ever consider adding lavender to your kitchen? Used solely on the kitchen island, this makes a great option if you’re into pastel kitchens. Note the mix of colored chairs at the nearby dining table.

I love the light shade of spring green on the cabinets in this charming kitchen. Do you remember that color from your box of crayons? A dark gray counter top complements and adds just a touch of drama.

A soft blue-gray is a wonderful choice for creating serene and stylish pastel kitchens. It truly works with any other color and looks great with wood finishes, as well.

You don’t see many pink kitchens but they look great when done right. Adding a small touch of the rosy hue might be all that’s needed to evoke a springtime vibe.

Why not pair two pastels together? This modern Scandinavian style kitchen enjoys a sweet touch of pink and blue.

Traditional sophistication is displayed in a creamy yellow kitchen with complementary touches of blue. This shade of yellow on the custom cabinets looks great with the darker rich wood floors.

Last but certainly not least in today’s collection of pastel kitchens is a another room with spring green cabinets – but this one pairs with a pale blue stove and hood. The rug pulls from the color family of the appliance, tying it all together.

Do you have a favorite kitchen from today’s selection? I think I like the fourth one best – with the spring green cabinets and dark counter tops.

  1. Very nice. Like them all.. They all have appealing and charming vibes, because of the lovely pastel colors.

  2. That’s a tough choice but I think I would say either the first one, it’s so charming, or the last one- love that wood in the background!

  3. Great selection of kitchen not just for their colors but for someone deciding on style for a new kitchen.

  4. I like most of them. The first one is really pretty but I also love the spring green and both the yellow ones, especially the creamy yellow. Actually saved as pics for inspiration when I finally get to redo our lake house kitchen so thank you for the inspiration.
