Blue and Green Spring Mantel
Spring decorating is in full force this week at my house. Yesterday I shared my spring sitting room and today I’m sharing the other side of the room. A spring mantel, which is decorated with a few blue and green items that caught my eye in my favorite store.
During a recent trip to Cocoon in Geneva, I spied beautiful vases in shades of blue and green. Cocoon is located in an historic home and I love wandering from room to room, knowing that each space holds something wonderful.
I saw the little glazed vases in the third room. The third room always holds my favorite finds.
And I knew I had to have these beauties for my spring mantel.
Then I saw this sweet little landscape canvas propped on its little easel and I knew I was a goner.
The colors in both the paintings I chose pair perfectly with the glazed vases.
The spring wreath above the mantel looks like it’s made of beer hops. I’m pretty sure that’s what it is. For the record, I don’t like beer. I prefer a glass of red wine.
Faux branches are tucked inside the larger green vases on my spring mantel.
What’s nice about the vases and mini canvases is that I can group them elsewhere to create new vignettes.
A special thanks to Krista at The Happy Housie for organizing today’s tour of spring mantels and vignettes. See more Seasonal Simplicity inspiration at the links below. You’re sure to find plenty of inspiration and eye candy!

Beautiful mantelscape Jennifer! … I love the color scheme and those canvases were the perfect touch!!
Thanks so much, Shirley! I have to admit my heart skipped a bit when I saw the canvases!
Those two paintings are beautiful! The vases match them perfectly. I adore those colors!
Thanks, Amanda. I love the paintings. The store had a couple more scenes in fall colors – I might have to go back and snag them for fall. 🙂
You have such a gift for putting small items together. I do use some of your ideas but I can’t say they look as good as yours. Oh well.
Thanks Jeanne! I’m sure your vignettes are beautiful!! 🙂
Jennifer, adore the small canvasses. They can be used so many times. The wreath is pretty. Not a beer 🍺 drinker either. A nice glass of wine 🍷 every time.
Cindy
Thanks, Cindy. There’s something about a fine glass of wine!
I love small paintings like those that you can display and they do match those vases so very well, wonderful find.
Thanks, Marlene. I felt so lucky when I found the paintings and bottles all in one spot!
Love everything especially the canvases. Does the store have a website where I can order them?
Hi Debby. The store does have a website, but they don’t sell online. You could contact them though and they’d probably ship the canvases to you. You’ll find them here: http://www.cocoononline.com/
Amazing Spring decorating tips! I loved them all, especially the vases. They are so elegant and classy. Thanks for sharing!
So so sweet and pretty, Jenn! I love those sweet little vases and canvases. So glad you could be part of this hop!
