End of Summer Day at the Lake
This past Wednesday I had the pleasure of going to my boss’ lake house in Wisconsin. Every year he appoints one week where groups of employees go to his lake house for the day. Did I mention we get paid for this day of boating and leisure? It’s true! I work as marketing communications manager for Aquascape, a company that manufactures pond supplies and distributes them worldwide. We also install beautiful water features around the Chicago area … but I’ll save that post for another day. Now on to the end of summer day at the lake.
The lake house is quite charming, with plenty of windows to enjoy the view.

A variety of architectural styles hug the perimeter of the Wisconsin lake.
Even the boat houses are cute!

My boss has a lake house too that I get to use. Problem is I use it daily and also have to scrub the toilets. He’s getting a memo!
