Christmas is all around us and I’m trying to relish all of it because I know in the blink of an eye it will be over. I don’t know about you, but I actually enjoy the weeks leading up to Christmas more than I do Christmas Day itself. There’s just something about the anticipation of it that reminds me of the holiday magic from my childhood. And so I’d like to offer that same spirit to you today with a collection of Christmas curb appeal that will certainly get you in the holiday mood, if you’re not there already.
When decorating your own porch for the holiday, there’s no better place to start than the front door. Mittens, pinecones, and snowflakes give this wreath an extra special holiday vibe.
Is there anything prettier in the snow than a grand Victorian home decorated for Christmas? Of all Christmas porches, the Victorian one has the opportunity to make the biggest impact with its spaciousness and intricate trim work.
Not sure how you open the front door on this house but the wreath sure does look pretty hanging over the center of the double doors. A few shatter-proof ornaments are added to the garland for color and sparkle. And I love the little braided rug on the porch.

That Tudor-style home was my favorite. It just looked so pretty, cozy, and inviting.
Isn’t it adorable? Although it looks different, it made me think of the little stone cottage in the movie, Holiday.
All so lovely but I am quite taken with the green door and wreath. The Tudor style cottage is cute and Christmas rom-com worthy. Where I live the poinciana and frangipani trees out in full bloom tell us Christmas is just around the corner.
Those trees sound beautiful! I first learned about frangipani in a children’s book called The Big Orange Splot. You just brought back that memory!
The Victorians are just spectacular and I can almost feel myself in Victorian costume, complete with fur muff and bonnet, walking up to the door. Those single wreaths on double doors are split. I’ve always thought it would be interesting to try to craft one. I think you must just make the wreath and then take wire cutters and clip it in half…but maybe you cut it in half first and then decorate it?
