DIY Vintage Christmas Cards to Make with Free Printables
Well, I said I was going to enjoy the peace of November before getting crazy with Christmas, but here I am sharing DIY vintage Christmas cards you can make. And on Monday I shared some favorite ornaments to consider for this year’s tree. You can’t control when the holiday bug is going to bite.
When it comes to Christmas, I love anything vintage and when I saw these holiday prints at The Graphics Fairy, I thought I’d make sweet vintage Christmas cards with them.
Start with blank Kraft greeting cards and envelopes in either white or brown. Print the vintage Christmas images (provided at the end of this post), cut them out, and glue them to the front of each card using Mod Podge. You can leave them as is, or embellish the cards with buttons, ribbon, holiday scrapbook pieces like small poinsettias – you get the idea. I used a hot glue gun to add buttons and ribbon.
You can write a personal note inside each card before sending. I like the idea of homemade Christmas cards because it’s a unique way of spreading holiday cheer.

Thanks Jen, i love these vintage ones they are perfect.
I love vintage Christmas cards and these are perfect! I love what you did with them, too. So pretty!
Thanks so much for the great vintage Christmas cards!
Hi Jennifer, What a fun and interesting printable Christmas cards. Would not have thought of some of them. We don’t get many cards anymore, but I still send them! Makes me want to go out and buy some just to do some of these!
Wow so absolutely Victorian and gorgeous! Thank you super much, I truly love these 🙂
I love anything vintage Christmas. These cards are perfect.
All of these are lovely, thank you. But I have noticed a huge move to Xmas online and in stores, even before Halloween. They all have a huge load of American appealing Xmas stuff that Amazon, Walmart and other retailers need to dump ASAP. Even on Labor Day, all the major and minor stores (Big Lots, Dollar General, etc) places were pushing these Xmas sales. So, like some previous years, I am not shopping anywhere but my house. In the long run, none of this stuff mattters.
